Cherokee South Plaza Construction Underway

The $23 million dollar redevelopment of Cherokee South Plaza has officially begun. With the construction of the 15,000-square-foot stand-alone Walgreens well underway, the project has already come to life.

The improved Cherokee South Plaza will feature outdoor patios, tree-lined sidewalks and enhanced green spaces for public use. The Walgreens is slated for an October 2009 opening, and the shopping center is scheduled for December 2009 completion.
